About Lube oil blending

 

Blending is the last important process in the process of lubricating oil Production. According to the formula of the oil, the components of lubricating oil base oil and additives are added into the blending kettle in proportion and order. The blending is uniform by mechanical mixing, pump circulation mixing, pulse mixing and other methods. After that, the formal product is obtained after sampling and analysis according to the product standard. The factors that affect the blending quality of lubricating oil include the accurate measurement of components, the water content in components, the air in components, the temperature of blending components and the dilution of additives. Among them, the pump circulation mixing is to continuously pump the materials in the tank from the bottom of the tank and then return to the mixing tank. Under the action of the pump, the main body convection diffusion and vortex diffusion are formed, so that the oil products are mixed evenly. From the actual situation, it can be seen that the pump circulation mixing has relatively low mixing efficiency and high energy consumption.
